Hyundai Nepal has launched an initiative encouraging car owners to exchange their old vehicles for the new Hyundai Creta EV, as part of its effort to support the transition toward electric mobility in the country.
The program includes a range of financial benefits such as an exchange bonus of up to Rs 1 lakh, an exclusive discount of Rs 75,000, and a loyalty bonus of Rs 25,000 for existing Hyundai customers. Buyers also receive one year of comprehensive insurance and road tax coverage with the new purchase.
The Creta EV is equipped with a 42 kWh battery pack, producing 99 kW (132 bhp) and offering a range of 390 km on a full charge.
With 200mm of ground clearance and a breakover angle of more than 17 degrees, the model is designed to handle varied road conditions, including light off-road terrain.
Safety features include ADAS, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera, aligning with Hyundai’s focus on occupant protection. Through this exchange initiative, the brand aims to make electric mobility more accessible while promoting the replacement of older vehicles.
